ArabDox is an Arabic/English/French Document Management System that offers enterprises an integrated solution to manage increasing amounts of non-structured information in documents.

The process begins by capturing information from all sources (papers, microfilms, faxes, e-mails, text files, HTML documents, office documents, etc.) It then describes this information with database attributes, and finally makes it readily available and searchable through a Web browser.



Paper-based documents are scanned to convert them into electronic images. Then, they are recognized using our Arabic OCR technology to extract the text into database fields. Summary, and keywords are extracted from this text and stored with the original images in a compressed format. Using a Web browser, an authorized user can search this store and view documents online. This integration of Sakhr's own OCR, Keyword Extractor, Summarizer, Idrisi, Client/Server and Internet/Intranet technologies gives ArabDox its uniqueness and power, making it "The Arabic Document Management System."
